It seems several artists are waiting to get rewarded for their hard work. ?id=3601 If I commissioned you and you're still waiting for your payment, you can pm me here and we can look for another way for you to get paid. You don't need to worry about my EVs.

the site looks like to have lots of technical problems, i wonder how it survived all these years if it has this kind of problems in it

  • 2022-10-19 19:42:25

It wasn't always this bad as far as I know. Nine months ago a tornado hit their ?id=3362 and it hasn't been the same since. To my knowledge, artists not getting paid started when PayPal and other similar companies suspended their services for a certain country dinosknight and now something happened between PayPal and WH. It could be technical or another issue entirely.

paypal is kind of a pain, in my country i can't buy things in other currencies so i always have to find other ways to do it when i want to buy in places that only accept the paypal method! isn't there something better than paypal out there in the net? like, there must be somewhere right a better one

    * a tornado hit their server

It sounds frustrating for those who happen to live in your country. I hope the situation improves over there. As for buying things in other currencies, you might be able to see what works for you at moneytransfers.com External /

It was just one of the first things I found on Google and it looked like it could help you.

Apparently artists that want to receive their payments through PayPal need to make at least $100 before they can get paid because of a technical issue ?id=3610

I've noticed commissions with the detail that they want the character's body types the same as their references, but this detail ends up being ignored. Any tips on how to make it clear that you want the characters bodies as they are in the source material?

Not buying to the same artist who dont follow intructions sounds like the optimal answer... not sure why people keep buying to people that dont follow orders

  • 2021-10-21 04:12:00

Got me questioning if maybe I was one of those people lol

  • 2021-10-21 05:30:13

maybe they have faith that that will change in future commissions #pedroillusions haha

I don't think it takes anything in particular to clarify the tastes of the commissioner, they just take work and don't even read the specifications in detail. everything is a matter of having some attention.

Ive always found it unfair to ask an artist to make a characters body the same as the reference. Commissioning an artist should mean agreeing to receive work in their art style not someone else's.

I'm fine with characters being colored in the commissioned artist's style. That's not an issue for me. I'm just not sure how asking for the body shape (height, build, breast size etc) to be true to the source is unfair as long as you're upfront about it. If the artist knows ahead of time, they can decide to reject the commission or just not make an offer.

What is your opinion character's body proportions being drawn like the series they come from? For clarity, this can exclude characters that might need to be drawn differently for public uploads here.

I would say when you draw a certain character make their facial structure and body shape look exactly like the characters we see in the anime or manga but make it 90% accurate and 10% would be your own per***al style you add into the characters. So when I see an artwork I would say oh wow this character is looking exactly like the character I see in an anime but I can recognize the artist because he added his per***al style into it which made it more lovable.
I hope everyone understand what I am saying I am not good with words

    lol I said p-e-r-s-o-n-a-l

if you're referring to body proportions I prefer it to be as accurate as possible, including with young-looking characters. I see no rea*** no logic to go an pick up a character you like and inflate it as a bimbo or slut or whatever; for example: I would never ever draw Rukia with Inoue's size breast or a huge ass way bigger than what she has. I like Rukia the way she is, why should I change it now? I appreciate her with all and her more juvenile flat-chested body. I always find it extremely unfaithful to grab a character that is not anything like Matsumoto and to give her the exact same characteristic... after all, you're just making a clone of Matsumoto but smaller (maybe) and with black hair. I don't mind making tights, breasts, ass and other things slightly bigger, but to really exaggerated point? No, thank you. And this also applies for curvy girls; I don't want to draw them with less boobage and thinner thighs, let's them to be as curvy, maybe slightly bigger, slightly smaller than the original reference, but not completely reversing the character with a non explained rea***.

Now, if you're relating to the style... I prefer the style to be as accurate as possible too as I like to think it came from an episode or something. I know it's non-creative at all as you can't experiment that much if you're making what others do, but as said above, you can always add some of your per***al styles to make it is more recognizable than 500 artists doing the exact same. with things that have no canon material, like OCs or something, I always prefer to see the artist's style at full, so you can play with different styles for the same non-existing character.

I understand that physical traits are bound to get exaggerated on these sites, but changing a character's body type so it doesn't resemble the original makes a pic look off to me, like it's not even the same character besides the face. I might like some pics with this due to the pose, expressions, or background, but would enjoy those more with a figure similar to the characters drawn. In the end though, this is just a preference and everyone is free to enjoy something even if I don't.

I'm not as picky on the coloring style for points already said here.

If i want porn of a specific character it’s because i want her as it is. Say if i wanted someone bustier, I’d just ask for another waifu.
