Karma calculation fixes.
I've received some complaints about karma calculation earlier this week. Checked the database manually to find any actions within the previous week to support some of the members' points. And didn't find any.
Therefore, the source code for karma calculation was updated (again) to represent the actual score.

I appreciate your work very much, I'm a coder too and I know that the task is very stressful

Thanks, @Phatnessia . Indeed it is stressful, especially when working on 5 projects at a time.

With all respect, you shouldnt bother fixing stuff like that or just give it very low priority, I mean is FREE STUFF for SPAMMERS and yet they complaint...

I've never had a point problem before. I don't understand why it was not possible to wait until Monday for the scoring change. now there would be no problem :/

    Josuke,

I am the biggest loser of this change:

    1. Before change, I had 3rd place.
    2. After change, I had 1st place.
    3. Sunday all day I had 1st place.
    4. I won, over 1500 points
    5. Next day and I'm not even in the top15 (I still don't understand how this is possible)
    6. I end the week with nothing, ehhhh

This needs to be a system that awards people putting into the system, it’s the only legit and fair way. Every vote purchased adds a percentage to the board for your name, more votes higher the percentage, spin the wheel , winner gets votes. This current way rewards the spammers with no gain, yet my way puts into the system and rewards the loyal.

@TOFUK 100% agree with you. I think on paper it was a good idea however in practice it is awful. I think you guys should focus on people who actually do something for the site like commission artist.

@Pcm97 2 years later you get your explanation, with decent management of uncommented and unliked works, it's still possible for someone to generate a random sentence (or even copy and paste, if they don't get reported) on just enough works to beat the current first at the last minute (or rather hourly check and end-of-week check). Objective and relevant to the work doesn't mean "quality", it could be something completely random and still be awarded the full score as long as it is within WHentai's terms of service.

As TOFUK said back then, a lottery system using EV purchases would still be better since EV purchases allow the site to exist and maintain infrastructure (with adblockers, ads probably don't generate that much money). Spam if taken to full extent will do the exact opposite, it is even possible to comment on works without even browsing them, or works that don't exist in the database. With VIPs being deactivated after 3 months (requiring someone who did not purchase EVs to start "contributing" and "encouraging" artists again), that means a ~12-week-cycle for all accounts engaging in this.

The "spam reward" discrepancy in the top three likely plays a role in this. Not that it matters much though, since if commissions start to cost 1000 EVs or more after the pricing and payout adjustments, it fully takes care of the problem by ******* even spambots, script users and very quick people (with deep learning advances, there will soon be a way to automatically produce objective comments as well in less than a second) to actually purchase EVs. Multiple accounts also are not always obvious for similar rea***s, and there are other cases that the system wouldn't be able to monitor - at this point, it becomes too complicated to tell what's going on and borders on speculation or even conspiracy theories.
